ARDPArk to Exhibit at Event in Clinton
NEWS RELEASE -- May 16, 2001

The Alliance will be one of 20 different exhibitors during an afternoon full of Internet education with live entertainment as part of the community information fair.  According to Ms. Campbell, ARDPArk representatives will be on hand to answer questions, distribute educational materials, sell t-shirts, and gather petition signatures. The group is the sponsor of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act, a citizens initiative which hopes to place its measure before the state's voters in the November 2002 general election. Their proposed law would allow people with debilitating medical conditions to legally use marijuana for medical purposes.

Other exhibitors include the City of Clinton and the Clinton Fire Department, Wild Goose Studio, Clinton Insurance, Wishing Well for Paws Inc., the Van Buren County Literacy Council, the Fairfield Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Fairfield Bay News, Poets of the Lake, Master's Touch Signs and Screen Printing, Foremother Earth Hemp, Gozarks.com, John Clark Insurance, Regions Bank, First Service Bank, Main Street Clinton /CARE, CompuCableLink.com, ARDPArk and DPEG.

Information and fund-raising booths will be set-up under the cover of tents in the lot behind Hyper Tech, located at 794 U.S. Hwy. 65-B in Clinton. Both the Big John Miller Band and Cryout Reggae are scheduled to perform. A sizeable crowd is hoped for, due in part to the Internet theme, and admission is free of charge.
